Northernmost outpost for Linnker electric buses

The first Linkker 12+ LE electric buses have been delivered to Luleå in Sweden for its Line 6 Porsön – Kronan. This route will be one of the northernmost electric bus routes with operating temperatures below -30C. Luleå is regarded as a benchmark for high performance electric bus operation in demanding conditions  and the buses are designed to cope with challenging weather conditions from harsh winters to hot summers. The line will be operated with five buses and two 400kW charging systems. The fast charging systems are supplied by EkoEnergetyka.

Linkker claims the buses will achieve a daily mileage of 350km a day in winter and summer conditions. The Linkker eBuses have a lightweight aluminum structure and the lithium titanate oxide batteries can be boosted with just 2-3 minutes of charging.
