Bridgestone appoints Tyresafe’s Stuart Jackson as business development director
Tyresafe chairman Stuart Jackson has been appointed as business development director for Bridgestone in what is described as a strategic move for the business. Jackson will support all departments in the UK and Ireland as well as the Nordic countries of Finland, Denmark Sweden, Iceland and Norway and will manage the delivery of a number of key projects as part of a continued process to transform the sales and profitability of the business.
He will report to managing director Robin Shaw, who comments: “Stuart has 25 years of sales, marketing and business development experience in the UK and EMEA automotive aftermarket. He brings many core strengths to the business which allow us to focus on planning, corporate change management and project implementation.
“Stuart is involved in many industry bodies and will be able to support our continued development and planned strategies within the industry.”
