Second new Plaxton Leopard for Safeguard
Safeguard Coaches, which was established as a family business 92 years ago in Guildford has added a new Plaxton Leopard on Volvo B8R chassis to its fleet of 38 vehicles.
This is the second new Plaxton Leopard for Safeguard in the past year and is another 12.8m 70-seat coach for use on school work, airport runs and day trips.
“The Leopard is a workhorse that combines style with performance and complements our fleet perfectly,” says Andrew Halliday, managing director.
The B8R chassis is powered by a D8K 7.7 litre, 350bhp Euro 6 engine with Volvo I-Shift automated transmission, full air suspension, I-start dual battery system, Thermo King roof-mounted climate control system, Alcoa alloy wheels and disc brakes all round, and an eight-camera CCTV system.
