Every two years the Farnborough International Airshow receives a phenomenal public following due to an unrivalled weekend of aviation excellence and family entertainment witnessed by over 130,000 visitors.The event next takes place on 14-15 July 2012 and promises to deliver a feast of aviation delights both on the ground and in the air.

The event is held at the Farnborough Aerodrome which links back to aviation from the very beginning of man’s quest to fly. The historic landmark opens its gates over the weekend to demonstrate to the public a combination of civil and military aircraft displaying historic to modern day technology.

The Farnborough International Airshow 2012’s main attraction is its participating aircraft. The flying display starts at 12.30pm and gives 4 ½ hours of exhilarating first-class flying entertainment. The flying displays showcase a wide range of civil airliners, military jets, historic aircraft and aerobatics, including the world famous Red Arrows.

The displays will demonstrate the capabilities and the technology used in these amazing flying machines. These aerobatics will demonstrate the ability in performing breathtaking stunts.

The static display runs in parallel to the exhibition and gives the visitor the chance to witness the aircraft close up.

The Airshow prides itself on entertaining all age groups with on the ground shows and crowd entertainment, extreme rides, interactive exhibits and displays, children’s inflatables and climbing rides, simulators and lots more.
