Four new coaches for Maynes of Buckie Four new coaches for Maynes of Buckie
FOUR new coaches have joined the fleet of Maynes of Buckie this season. The smallest are a pair of Mercedes-Benz Varios with Plaxton Cheetah bodywork, one a 33-seater, the other providing extra comfort for just 25 passengers. These have been accompanied by two full-size Bovas. One is a 13m-long Futura 53-seater in the livery of David Urquhart Travel; the other is a high-specification 49-seat Magiq. The Bovas join a fleet made up largely of Van Hool-bodied Volvos.

Maynes Coaches was set up in 1947 and today operates 20 vehicles, all less than three years old. The company’s name regularly appears in awards ceremonies and its new Magiq was voted Top Scottish Coach in this year’s British Coach Rally.
