Stagecoach's £50m order for new vehicles
Alexander Dennis will supply 338 vehicles between April 2006 and February 2007, representing almost 75 per cent of the new vehicle intake. The other suppliers are Optare, with 95 Solos, and Volvo and Plaxton with 31 Profile B7Rs.
All but five of the vehicles will have Euro 3 engines.
Alexander Dennis will supply:
165 Pointer Dart midis
130 Trident Enviro400 double-deckers
30 Trident ALX400 double-deckers
13 Enviro300 single-deckers

Stagecoach operates 8,000 vehicles in the UK.
